ANDREW "DREW" ANDERSON
ROCKPORT, Ind. — Andrew "Drew" Anderson, 25, of Rockport, passed
away Friday, February 22, 2008.
Drew was born on January 7, 1983, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Terry
and Sharon (Gentry) Anderson.
He had worked with his father at Anderson Welding. He was very
active in several bowling leagues and enjoyed racing radio control
cars and trucks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and
family. Drew always made time for others, putting them before
himself.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar Anderson, Logan
"Bunk" Gentry, Dora Jane Horrom Gentry.
Drew is survived by his parents, Terry and Sharon Anderson; sister,
Tammi Anderson; nephew, Triston Stinnett; grandmother, Virginia (Beckort)
Anderson; two aunts, Shirley Horn and her husband, Gordon, all of
Rockport, Sue Zdenek and her husband, John, of Riverside, Ill.;
cousins, Tony Davis and his wife, Kathy, Tim Davis and his wife,
Roxann, Derek Davis, Lindsey McDaniel, Blake Davis, all of Rockport,
Kurtis Shartzer, Brittney Goff and her husband, Jared, Mariah Moore,
all of Kentucky, Jerry Zdenek of Maracopa, Ariz., Jeff Zdenek and
his wife, Amy, of Guthrie, Oka.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at Buena Vista
Baptist Church in Owensboro, Ky., with the Rev. Anthony Cobb and the
Rev. Bruce Treon officiating. Burial is in Sunset Hill Cemetery in
Rockport.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2008, at
the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport and from 11 a.m. until
the time of service Tuesday at Buena Vista Baptist Church in
Owensboro, Ky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Missions of Love and the
Spencer County Hospice.
